  • We resell nothing.

So nobody pays us to recommend anything.

  • Their own logins.

Producers, account managers and service staff each get access that fits.

  • The bond file, backed up too.

    Proved with real restores.

What we check first before the certificate is due.

The agency system opens. The carrier login fails.

A carrier password change can leave something downstream still trying the old one. Separately, activated AMS360 and PL Rating accounts share Vertafore Single Sign-On credentials. We check which login actually failed.

“Cloud” still leaves software on the desk.

HawkSoft 6 is a desktop app that runs on your office PC. Applied’s own Epic browser extension needs the Applied Epic Desktop Connector installed before it works. So the laptop nobody set up is how a quote stalls on a Tuesday.

Give people their own logins.

Producers, account managers and service staff need different access. Write down who owns each account and what changes when somebody joins or leaves. The password on a note beside the monitor already enjoys excellent availability.

The bond file needs a backup too.

Submissions, certificates, bond forms, powers of attorney and scanned financials can live outside the agency system. We keep backups isolated from what they protect and prove them with real restores.

The carrier’s security questionnaire.

Carriers and surety companies often send an agency a security questionnaire. We answer the technical part from what is actually set up, not from what a template says.

Switching IT companies without losing a carrier login? How we take over

AI at an insurance agency

2025The commission check nobody had time to do

About $41,000 in commissions confirmed and paid by carriers.

How it worked

An independent commercial agency got commission statements from a pile of carriers, every one with its own layout, abbreviations and way of handling adjustments. Checking them properly took about 30 hours a month. We connected the carrier statements, Applied Epic records and agency accounting. AI cleaned up the inconsistent descriptions so they could be compared, and reconciliation rules checked policy numbers, premiums, commission rates, endorsements, cancellations and payments. Across 12 months of transactions it found about $67,000 in disputed commission differences. Carriers investigated, then confirmed and paid about $41,000. The monthly reconciliation dropped from about 30 hours to about eight.

How we build it
