Anything technical, Dallas-Fort Worth

The technical department for companies that don’t have one.

Most IT companies have a scope list and say no to the rest. We take the rest. Vendor calls included.

Copiers, cameras, the website, the phone line in the elevator. If it’s technical and nobody in your office wants to deal with it, it’s ours.

An office manager lifts a finished print job from a working copier under a ceiling camera while Trevor, at his home workshop bench, has the copier company on the phone. Your front office Trevor, your BDunn tech On the line with the copier company
Copier, cameras, elevator phone. We make the call.

  • We take the rest.

What most IT companies call out of scope.

  • Copiers, cameras, the elevator line.

    If it’s technical, it’s ours.

  • Cabling and cameras, handled.

We decide what goes where, then make it work on the network.

Yes, the copier is our problem too.

What people actually call us about

  • The copier stopped talking to the network.

Is it the copier, the network or the company that services it? We find out, and we make the call.

  • The cameras came back up in the wrong order.

Security cameras after a power outage, put back the way they were.

  • The elevator phone has to work before the inspection.

A line nobody thinks about until the inspector asks.

  • The website stuff nobody owns.

The domain renewal, the contact form, the DNS change your web developer needs. We watch those too.

Switching from another IT company? How we take over

Out of scope.

Managed services agreements come with a boundary. Past it, you are calling the copier vendor yourself, holding for the carrier, chasing the web designer who won’t answer.

That boundary protects the provider’s margin. You are the one left making the calls.

Here, the answer to an odd request is usually just yes, from one person who already knows your setup.

What we do and don’t touch.

  1. We decide what goes where.

On a camera or cabling job: the equipment, the locations, and what it connects to.

  2. We line up the installers.

We coordinate the low-voltage crew. We are not the ones pulling wire through your ceiling.

  3. We make it work on the network.

Plenty of installers run a beautiful cable and leave you with equipment nobody configured. That part is ours.
